Regalo is the outcome of an entrepreneurial bug that bit us somewhere in the middle of the year 2017. We sensed the need for a gifting company that not only catered to a person’s emotional expressions for others but made one feel the need to pamper oneself as well.

After spending several months meeting artisans, trusts, vendors and making trips to places that are known only to the discerning few, we arrived at what an ideal product mix could look like. Each product or source had a story – some sources had stories of struggle, some products had a certain uniqueness, some places had the story of will power and survival and it is said that the will to succeed shows in what you create. However, one element that was common in everything sourced or created is the eco-friendly nature of the products.

We then consciously sought such products in a bid to give back to the environment. With recycling as our motto, now our effort is to offer products that not only thrill you with the rugged looks but also generates a feel good factor due to the eco-friendly nature of the products. We truly believe that ‘every product in the store unfolds a story.’

Our story

Ours is a country with rich heritage of art and culture. It is a treasure we possess and appreciated not only by us natives but by people from across the world too. The Indian artisans have been instrumental in preserving this culture – There are several such places in our country where the artisans have been weaving their magic through their effort and intricate work; Our gifting store Regalo is in a way  an effort to help recognise their efforts.

It gives us immense pleasure to present the works of such talented artisans. Our product mix includes: Jams and pickles, bags, table covers, table runners, stuffed toys, puppets, packaging material all made by deprived women who have been employed not only  to earn a living but also to educate themselves and enhance their skills.

We have some products made from terracota, ranging from cooking degchis to kullads. This is an attempt at reviving the rural art in our country and providing livelihood to households of such craftsman.

We have saris made in the interiors of our country and also cotton patchwork saris that are tastefully designed in-house. Such products are sought after for its originality, authenticity and pure form and its  non machine made look.

We believe budding, talented designers bring in a certain freshness and thus, we also have, semi precious jewellery and handmade jewellery carefully designed allowing the creative juices of budding designers to flow.

We have a photo wall too that is meant to allow photographers and artists both amateurs and professionals to showcase their work to our customers.

The aim is to have products from every corner of our country so that our customers get the joy of shopping for unique products right here. We have based our entire sourcing to realise this objective.
